NewMexicoWomen.Org, a fund and initiative of NMCF, celebrated St. Valentine’s Day at the state capitol, and love was in the air. In addition to having recognitions read on the House and Senate Floors, NewMexicoWomen.Org, along with several 2012 grantees, set up tables in the east wing of the Rotunda. Those that stopped by were privy to a preview of the forthcoming indicators report commissioned by NMCF andNewMexicoWomen.Org. When published later this year, this report will not only help funders determine which issues facing women and girls are especially urgent, but will also help legislators frame the challenges most greatly affecting our state.
